Snow Day 2/26 and New Syllabuses

Even thought we did not get the "Snowpocalypse" that was predicted, I have cancelled classes. I have also updated the syllabuses. Find them in the file drawer.

I have struggled on what call to make today on classes. I feel that the streets will be clear by this afternoon when most of you come to my house, but several of you have quite a drive, and you may have gotten more that the two inches of snow that we got here. So, NO CLASSES TODAY.

That being said, if we must miss any more scheduled classes due to weather, we will not take the spring break listed on the syllabus. I will be revising the syllabus sometime today.

When you come to class on Tuesday, please have the following completed:

Geometry

• Chapter 13 Test
• Lessons 95 & 96
• Be sure to check your work
• Look ahead to lessons 97 & 98 and update your "cheat sheets" on volume and surface area.
• I will teach Lessons 97 & 98 next Tuesday

Algebra 1

• Begin working on the attached factoring worksheet. It will be due Thursday, March 5.
• Lessons 101 & 102
• Lesson 103, problems 1,2,12, 20
• Lesson 104, problems 16, 19

Algebra 2

• Lessons 102/111,103/112,113* (*Lesson 112: 3, 4, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20
• Lesson 113: 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21 )
• Complete and review your study guide so that you know what questions you need to ask me on Tuesday. The test won't be due until Thursday, March 5.
• Lessons 104/114,problems 8, 9, 13, 17;
• Lesson 105/115, problems 1, 2, 3, 4, 16, 17

I should be home all day, so if you happen to be in the neighborhood and want to ask a question or get some additional help on anything math related, feel free to stop by. I will most likely be seeing my private students this afternoon.
